Day one of our Auckland Leadership Camp has been full of new experiences, teamwork, and plenty of excitement!
After an early start and a smooth journey involving a plane, bus, and even a train ride, our Year 7 and 8 leaders arrived ready to take on the city.
Students have already shown fantastic teamwork skills, working together in groups to complete grocery shopping challenges before heading back to the YMCA to prepare dinner and tackle the dishes.
From navigating busy streets to cooking meals together, the camp is already providing lots of opportunities for independence, leadership, and fun.
Everyone is settling in well, and there’s plenty of enthusiasm for another busy day of adventures tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates from Auckland!
