Our Year 7 and 8 students enjoyed another action-packed day exploring Tāmaki Makaurau and making the most of everything Auckland has to offer.
The group travelled all around the city using Auckland’s public transport system, confidently navigating buses, trains and ferries as part of their leadership camp experience. It has been fantastic to see the students showing independence, teamwork and great decision-making skills while travelling together.
Today’s adventures included visits to SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium, Auckland Zoo and Mt Albert Aquatic Centre. From getting up close with marine life to exploring the zoo exhibits and enjoying some time at the pools, there were plenty of smiles and memorable moments throughout the day.
Tomorrow the group heads to the NYLD Conference before finishing the day with a visit to the Sky Tower — another exciting day ahead!
