Starting young! Our New Entrants and juniors confidently stood up in front of the school to share their speeches.
There were some very serious messages, some persuasive arguments and plenty of entertaining moments throughout the morning. Listening is an important part of speech competition too — our students were a fantastic audience for each other.
The four students heading to Cluster Speeches are… Ruby Douglas, Harry Thomas, Anika Preston and Eva Douglas! Congratulations!
Boe Lilo and Daenerys Lupante are our backup speakers, having both placed third in their year groups. Well done!
A huge thank you to Mr Jade Gillies, who had the difficult task of judging our speeches and selecting our finalists. It certainly wasn’t an easy job!
